At the end of an abandoned street in a Midwestern suburban neighborhood sits Sunflower Meadows High School. For twenty years, it has stood empty, a black hole from which people are sucked in and never return. A mid-career accountant encounters unknowable events during a mundane job search and is drawn into a deepening vortex of supernatural terror deep within an unremarkable town.
