Seasons of the Soul contains poems in two sections. The first section contains poetry regarding nature and the seasons in various styles. Each poem is full of imagery to awaken the reader to think mindfully about the seasons and appreciate their uniqueness through the senses.
The second section describes the poet's perspective of the world. Most artists see the world in a different way. These poems express with mindfulness how people can fall into unconscious habits taught by social mores that are never questioned.
Through poetry from the Seasons of the Soul, the author hopes to impart to the reader that critical thinking can increase awareness that our daily lives can be richer if we look closely into our own hearts.
